I shot quite a few images and then moved to my husband's black SUV where I found more incredible patterns. I played with white balance when processing some of these for a cooler appearance which suits the subject well, and converted a few to black and white using NIK Silver Efex Pro.
All in all, it was a very good morning. :)
Happy shooting,
Kathleen

ReplyDeleteand that is why i love artists - photographers definitely see the world thru unique eyes. i absolutely love yours. :)
ReplyDeleteThank you Karen and Cindi, I am so grateful that I happened to see the frost!
ReplyDeleteThese are just beautiful! Reminds me of feathers....a very lovely thing for the ending of one year and the start of another.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Mary!
ReplyDeleteK: the compositions are so beautiful. I'm quite envious. The frost itself is beautiful, of course, but the way you selected the lines and the way the lines work within the frame - bravo!
ReplyDeleteThanks, John! The compositional elements were endless, I could have been making photos for days if the frost hadn't started to melt as the sun rose higher in the sky!
ReplyDeleteLove these Kathleen. You certainly had a GREAT situation to shoot and made the very best of it. Great stuff.
ReplyDeleteThe situation was indeed great, thanks John!
